About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the design and production of drawings for a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and site development projects. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design, preferably within the water and wastewater industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings for water, wastewater, stormwater, and site development projects.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of design concepts and plans.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.

  • Conduct site visits and gather relevant data for design purposes.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.

  • Utilize CAD software and related tools effectively to create high-quality drawings and documentation.

  • Coordinate with other team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.


Education/Experience:

  • 2-year Technical or Vocational School CAD Design Certificate <or> Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design, with a focus on water and wastewater projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing water and wastewater infrastructure design is desirable.

  • Experience with site development projects is a plus.
